Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She was best known as Anna Garner, the main character in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first part on the screen in Babysitters when she appeared in the role of Brenda Woodberg. Krause started her career in drama at college, before she appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions and in episodes of New York based TV shows. Professionally, her parents are of American and Japanese descent. Her younger brother Nathaniel is a director. After attending the Washington School of Ballet and taking part in plays, musicals and other performances of Henry Krieger and Bill Russell in high school she decided to concentrate on her interest in the arts. In the fall of her Senior year she began her studies at Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause made the decision to begin her acting career soon after. In a musical version of Aida she earned her Equity Card. Louisa Krause was first involved in theatre. Louisa Krause started her career in theatre. 2007 was the year she was Iphigenia in the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
